About Us

Treemenders was formed in 1987 by Bruce Hatton, becoming Arboricultural Association Approved Contractors in 1995.

We are based in Northamptonshire and carry out work in Northamptonshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Leicestershire, Warwickshire, Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Lincolnshire and North London.

Director of Treemenders is Bruce Hatton, who has worked in the arboricultural industry since 1987. In 1997 he achieved the Professional Diploma in Arboriculture and became a Fellow of the Arboricultural Association. As well as running Treemenders he has his own Arboricultural Consultancy, Bruce Hatton & Associates.  Bruce achieved the status of Arboricultural Association Registered Consultant in 2005.

Phil Scott-Collins joined Treemenders in 2001 as Arboricultural Consultant, with special responsibilities for managing the highways network for Carillion. Phil has also achieved the Professional Diploma in Arboriculture and became a Fellow of the Arboricultural Association in 1997.

Ensuring everything runs smoothly is Office Manager Julia Jones, with Administrative Assistant Sharon Canning taking the reins on Wednesdays and Fridays.
